Barcelona fear Ronald Araujo will be out for three weeks with sprained ankle

A blow for the defender
Barcelona fear Ronald Araujo suffered a sprained ankle against Sevilla on Sunday and will be out of action for around three weeks.
The Uruguay international was forced off midway through the first half of the game after appearing to pick up the issue following a hefty challenge from Saul.
Araujo was spotted on the bench with an ice pack on his ankle and will now undergo further tests on the injury.
According to AS, the early prognosis is that Araujo has suffered a sprain and will now be out for around three weeks.
If that proves to be correct, then Araujo will miss La Liga games against Rayo Vallecano, Osasuna and Real Sociedad as well as the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
Hansi Flick was asked about Araujo after the game and did not seem too worried.
“We have to wait until tomorrow to see what Araujo has. It doesn’t seem like a serious injury.”
Araujo’s injury means that Inigo Martinez is set to reclaim his starting spot alongside Pau Cubarsi in the heart of the defence, with Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia the back-up options.
