Aston Villa Reach Morgan Rogers Agreement as Contract Length Revealed

Aston Villa have been handed a huge boost with the news that Morgan Rogers has agreed to sign a new deal.

The midfielder was due to see his contract expire in the summer of 2030, but according to The Athletic, that deal has now been extended to 2031. The new contract will also see the player’s salary improved significantly.

Rogers arrived at Aston Villa in February 2023 following an £8million deal with Middlesbrough. This came just six months after he had joined the EFL side from Manchester City for a minimal fee.

Since then, the midfielder has made 85 appearances for Villa, scoring 18 goals and providing 20 assists for his teammates. Now one of Unai Emery’s star men, his contract is the perfect reward.
