Andreas Christensen committed to Barcelona amid exit links
Danish man Andreas Christensen does not want to entertain offers to part ways with Barcelona in January amid his links with Premier League and Serie A clubs.
According to a report by Spanish outlet SPORT, Andreas Christensen faces an uncertain future at FC Barcelona. Recent updates have pointed to the Blaugrana mulling over cashing in on the Danish utility man to balance the books. However, the former Chelsea defender does not want to entertain offers to part ways with the Catalan outfit amid his links with Premier League and Serie A clubs.
Andreas Christensen and his Barcelona journey so far
Andreas Christensen has been a dependable performer since joining Barcelona in a Bosman move in July 2022 after running down his contract with Chelsea. The Dane arrived at the Catalan club at the peak of his powers and in top form after going from strength to strength in his final seasons with Chelsea.
While the 28-year-old has excelled as a centre-back during his spell with Barcelona, he has been a revelation as a holding midfielder. Christensen has turned out 75 times thus far for the Blaugrana while chipping in with four goals and three assists.
However, the 74-cap Danish international has barely featured this season, managing only 26 minutes of game time in one outing thus far. To make matters worse, Barcelona might cash in on the former Chelsea defender in the January transfer window to balance the books amid continued financial issues.
