January 20, 2026

It was an eventful week for some Bayern loanees. The Bundesliga teams had two matches each this week as the Hinrunde ended and the Rückrunde began. Zaragoza was named man of the match and scored a goal. Peretz made his Championship debut for Southampton after a successful FA Cup fixture last weekend. Also, check out what Kusi-Asare did in just minutes on the field. All this and more below:

FC Bayern Munich
There are nine players from on loan from the first team.

Germany – Bundesliga
There are three players on loan to the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimovic, and Armando Sieb.

Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Nübel started for Stuttgart at home against Eintracht Frankfurt. He faced his first shot on goal in the fifth minute, but he was not able to keep it out of the net. His team had his back and took a 2-1 lead before halftime with out facing another shot on goal. His first save came early in the second half. Eintracht found an equalizer in the 80th minute, but Stuttgart found a late winner in the 87th minute. Nübel secured the win with two more saves in the 89th minute. Stuttgart won 3-2.

Nübel also started for Stuttgart in their second home match of the week against Union Berlin. He did not face a shot on goal for most of this match until 83rd minute when he also conceded a goal — an equalizer in Berlin’s first shot on goal. This must have woken Berlin up, because they recorded two more shots on goal in the 85th and 88th minutes. Luckily he was up to the task to save those, but his teammates could not find a winner and the match finished 1-1.

Stuttgart will travel to Italy to face AS Roma in the Europa League on Thursday. They return to Germany with another road game away to Monchengladbach.

Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC Heidenheim
Ibrahimović started for Heidenheim away to Mainz and fellow loanee Sieb. He had four shots — one on goal and three blocked. He also created two chances for his teammates to shoot. He played the full 90 minutes but was not able to find his team to enough to pick up points on the road. They fell 3-2.
