Bayern Munich interested in signing star striker Franculino Djú
Scouting the Danish league could reap huge rewards.
According to @bolddk (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich has been watching Franculino Djú regularly and has sent club representatives once again to watch the striker live in action for FC Midtjylland against Nordsjælland in the Danish Cup this evening, which is funny because Franculino suffered an injury vs. Viborg FF last Sunday and was ruled out for the rest of 2025, so either someone in the Bayern management made an error that cost the club money in flight tickets and equipment, or the report isn’t entirely accurate.
However, Bayern’s interest does appear to be concrete, and this would be one story to keep an eye out for in the coming months. This is a dynamic, talented attacking talent with a market value of around €13 million (Transfermarkt).
BFW Commentary
Bayern Munich’s scouting department has done solid work over the years, and this time, they have set their sights on the Danish league, a move I strongly support and encourage.
As a supporter and follower of FC København (FC Copenhagen), I can also vouch for the talent pool in the Danish Superliga, which is growing from strength to strength. In this case, despite Bayern’s striker target being an FC Midtjylland player (our biggest rivals), I will concede that Franculino Djú from Guinea-Bissau is one talented attacker and has been prolific for his club, notching a staggering 21 goals and 3 assists in 30 matches across all competitions.
