Leeds United are set to ”spend big” on transfers – 49ers to splash the cash
Despite what many Leeds United fans have said, the club have had a decent start to the transfer window. Four new faces in and more set to arrive before pre-season kicks off is a good place to be in.
Daniel Farke and the recruitment team are working around the clock to find suitable players to add to their squad. So far, the defence and attack have received some much needed depth and quality.
Injuries saw the squad stretched thin last year, but with these new additions, hopefully Farke can use this team to its full potential. Leeds are slowly building a team good enough to survive in the Premier League.
The Whites have made their stance clear in this window: they will pay what the value the player at.
It is the reason they got such a quality defender like Jaka Bijol for just £15million from Udinese. Leeds did not feel that Diarra was worth the £30million and chose not to bid that amount. Joe Donnohue has shared that the end of the transfer window will determine if this approach was worth it or not.
