Very good on McTominay’ – Italian media react to Celtic flop Benjamin Siegrist’s ‘excellent’ Genoa

Benjamin Siegrist certainly was an enigmatic Celtic player during his time at the club.

Signed by Celtic hero Ange Postecoglou to compete with Joe Hart in the first-team, Siegrist made just two appearances in two years at the club.

Siegrist left Celtic in January in a surprise move to the Serie A as Patrick Vieira’s Genoa took a chance on the Hoops flop.

And now, four months later, the former Swiss U21 international has finally made his debut in the Serie A and he has just blown the title race wide open.
