Arsenal ‘Ready to Pay £68m’ to Sign ‘Game-Changing’ Striker Instead of Isak

Arsenal have readied a big offer for Sporting sensation Viktor Gyokeres ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes.
Much has been said about Arsenal’s striking options throughout the 2024/25 season. Both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz suffered long-term injuries in January, with the pair having displayed shaky and inconsistent form prior to their time on the sidelines. In Havertz’s case, there are still questions over whether his best position is at striker.
The Gunners have been forced to find makeshift solutions in the absence of the aforementioned duo. Leandro Trossard, a natural wide player, has often been deployed up top, as has Mikel Merino, despite being a midfielder by trade.
Arsenal are within reach of what would be their first-ever Champions League, but look set to finish second in the Premier League for a third successive season. The North London side will no doubt already have an eye on the summer transfer window. It would seem that the Gunners are ready to test the resolve of a particular team regarding their star striker.
