He refused to criticise Pablo Barrios
Atlético Madrid coach Diego Simeone spoke after a battle against Celta Vigo ended in a draw, with Alexander Sørloth cancelling out a penalty converted by Iago Aspas and a red card for Pablo Barrios in only the sixth minute.
When asked how his team handled fighting back with 10 men as they did against Bayer Leverkusen, Simeone responded, saying, “the guys are in a good moment, they entered the match well, in a good rhythm, the sending-off happened and the team had gladiators again”.
He finalised by saying, “90 minutes with one less, you know? It’s very tough”.
