FA Cup third round draw time and TV channel as Man United and Man City discover opponents
Premier League giants Manchester United and Manchester City join three lower league Manchester clubs in the third round draw
Things heated up in the FA Cup this weekend as clubs from Leagues One and Two, as well as non-league, secured their places in the draw for the third round of the competition.
Across English football, the third round weekend is marked in the calendar as the competition’s minnows have the chance to create a cup upset as Premier League and Championship teams enter. This, of course, means Manchester United and Manchester City will be in the hat for the draw that shall take place on Monday, December 2.
The Manchester giants met each other last season in the final of the FA Cup, with the Reds victorious thanks to goals from Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho. United and City will be joined in the third round by debutants at this stage, Salford City, who beat League Two rivals Cheltenham Town to advance.
