Max Eberl reveals Bayern Munich’s winter plans
The boy will not be traveling this winter for training camp.
Bayern Munich executive Max EBerl confirmed a rumor that had been floating around for quite a while —- the team will not be traveling for its winter training camp.
Eberl also confirmed that the squad will have two friendlies before starting back up with its real games.
“We will not be doing a training camp in winter, we would rather invest the time in training sessions, not in travelling. We have arranged two test matches, against Greuther Fürth and RB Salzburg, both on the same day – so all players would have the same game time. Our aim is to have as long a holiday as possible, but then be optimally prepared for the first game,” said Eberl
One of the benefits of Bayern Munich’s reduced travel plans could be more time for the front office to work on contract extensions for several key players.
