Man Utd Urged to Pursue €70M- Rated Chelsea, PSG Summer Transfer Target

November 15, 2024

Victor Osimhen, who was heavily linked with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain until the last week of the summer transfer window, should be on a particular Premier League club’s radar.

The 25-year-old ended up joining Galatasaray on loan after a permanent transfer from Napoli didn’t go through. Despite this, Osimhen has kept proving his skill, reinforcing his reputation as one of the world’s top strikers.

So far, he has scored six goals and provided four assists in just eight appearances across all competitions.

According to Turkish outlet Sozcu, Galatasaray is keen to make the move permanent and is reportedly preparing a £42 million offer to secure his signature. Tuttomercatoweb notes that his release clause will be around €80 million in January, but it is expected to drop to approximately €70 million by summer.

Manchester United urged to pursue Victor Osimhen

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has identified Osimhen as one player that new manager Ruben Amorim should target in the upcoming transfer window.

“If you look at the stats, Man Utd should go after Victor Osimhen over Viktor Gyokeres, it’s as simple as that,” Saha said (h/t GOAL). “He’s been scoring goals for four years at Napoli and has done exactly the same since joining Galatasaray, scoring goals for fun. He is a huge character and has the confidence to be a success everywhere he goes.

“I think there is a bit more of a guarantee behind him given the amount of time he has been successful. He is a big game player and he loves the game, he doesn’t care how his goals go in, he just wants to score and that’s what he does. He is very focused and he reminds me of Erling Haaland in that sense. I think he could be what Man Utd need.”
