NAPOLI MAKE OFFER FOR ATALANTA BOSS GIAN PIERO GASPERINI

Serie A giants Napoli are keen on signing Atalanta’s Europa League winning boss Gian Piero Gasperini and have made an offer for the Italian.

Gasperini won the Europa League two days ago and he will soon have talks with the club regarding his future, as one year remains on his current deal.

Il Mattino have reported about the future of Gasperini, stating that Aurelio de Laurentiis is keen on making him the next Napoli manager and they want to target winning the Scudetto with the La Dea boss at the helm.

A three-year deal worth €4 million per season has already been put forward for the Atalanta boss but the important temptation right now for Gasperini is his family, which lives in Bergamo and he might not want to move away from them.

Having said that, Gasperini’s future is in the balance and Napoli currently see him as a key target and are trying to convince him about the move.
