Kylian Mbappe’s mother spills the beans about his future

Kylian Mbappe appears to be moving closer to joining Real Madrid with each passing day now, with the forward recently concluding his spell at Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe said goodbye to Paris on Monday by hosting a dinner that accounted for 250 people. It was believed to be one of his last public events before he leaves the French capital in the coming summer.

Key members of Mbappe’s family and entourage were present at the dinner in Paris, including the player’s mother, Fayza Lamari.

In fact, Mbappe’s mother was almost about to spill the beans about the forward’s future this summer, dropping the biggest yet hint about the player’s potential move to Real Madrid.

After leaving the restaurant, Fayza was harrowed by reporters, who asked the million-dollar question – where is Mbappe going this summer?

Responding to the questions, Mbappe’s mother offered a witty response, stating (h/t Mundo Deportivo), “I think you already know that, right?”

This is the biggest hint Real Madrid fans have received so far, as far as Mbappe’s future is concerned.

Fayza, though, did try backtrack on her comments, perhaps after realising that she had revealed more than she should have. “Honestly, I don’t know, I don’t know anything,” she said shortly afterwards.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid appear on track to secure the signing of Mbappe on a free transfer this summer. The club’s president, Florentino Perez, is already in Paris and will soon finalise the contract, which could be around five years.
