BAYERN MUNICH KEEPING TABS ON POTENTIAL RONALD ARAÚJO BARCELONA EXIT
Bayern Munich are once again keeping tabs on FC Barcelona’s Ronald Araújo, who looks more and more likely to leave the club this summer, Catalunya Ràdio reports.
Araújo has long been linked with a move to Bayern. The Bundesliga club entertained an offer last winter, but Barcelona were never willing to let the defender go.
However, the situation now appears to be changing.
There are increasing signs that the Uruguayan international could be transfer-listed this summer.
Barca officials would be comfortable with a potential transfer, as would Araújo himself.
The 25-year-old is currently not even contemplating extending his current contract which is due to expire in June 2026.
Last window, Barca suggested Araújo was valued between €80m-€100m. However, the current price talk is now closer to €60m-€70m.
It’s set to be a year of comings and goings for Bayern. There are rumours are experienced internationals moving on, players coming in, and not to mention a new manager.
