Barcelona on Alert: PSG Sees Three Players Return to Training Ahead of UCL Clash
Paris Saint-Germain could be receiving a boost to their squad ahead of the first-leg UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie against FC Barcelona. On Wednesday, the capital club saw three players return to training after recovering from their respective injuries.
After returning from the FIFA international break, PSG saw Bradley Barcola pick up an injury, and now the coaching staff is racing against time to have him fit for the first leg on April 10.
Nonetheless, there’s also good news for the Parisians ahead of the first 90 minutes against Barcelona at the Parc des Princes. Journalist Loïc Tanzi from L’Equipe confirmed (h/t SPORT.fr) that PSG captain Marquinhos was back in training.
Furthermore, the Brazilian wasn’t alone during this training session. He was seen training alongside Milan Skriniar and Marco Asensio, who both appear to have recovered from their respective ankle and thigh injuries.
It will be interesting to see which of these three players will be ready for at least one of these matches against the Catalan side.
