REVEALED: THE TWO REAL MADRID STARS WHO WILL MISS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QF IF BOOKED VS LEIPZIG
Two headline members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid will be walking the disciplinary tightrope, in the club’s upcoming showdown with RB Leipzig.
The pair in question? Jude Bellingham, and Eduardo Camavinga.
Carlo Ancelotti’s troops, of course, are primed to mark their return to European action on Wednesday night.
Boasting a slender one-goal advantage from the opener in Germany, Real will play host to the aforementioned Leipzig, in the 2nd leg of the Champions League Last-16 tie between the clubs.
Anything but a defeat would mean Los Blancos booking their spot in the quarter-finals of European football’s elite club competition.
As alluded to above, though, in their efforts to contribute towards precisely that, two members of Ancelotti’s ranks will be wary of over-stepping the mark when it comes to discipline.
This comes with midfield pair Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga a single yellow card away from a one-game Champions League suspension.
Should either pick up a booking on Wednesday, and Real go on to put Leipzig to the sword, they will in turn be forced to watch on from the sidelines for the first leg of Los Merengues’ last-eight tie.
