Juventus and other Serie A clubs on alert as Lewis Ferguson’s agent sets out transfer timeline
The Scotland cap is set to cost a cool £22million with Bologna holding out for top dollar for their captain.
Lewis Ferguson’s apparent transfer fee to leave Bologna has been unveiled with clubs like Juventus and other Serie A teams showing interest in the former Aberdeen man.
Bologna expect a hefty £22million for their captain. Despite being a top performer in the Italian league, Ferguson could still potentially move to another club in future, like the Old Lady, who maintain strong interest.
Nonetheless, Lewis’s agent, Bill McMurdo, in an interview with the Daily Mail, emphasised timing and declared no rush for a swift exit.
He shared: “I have arranged to meet with Bologna in the summer to discuss Lewis’s future at that time. Lewis and I are aware of the interest from other clubs and he will move in the future when the time is right for both him and Bologna.”
“Lewis wants to concentrate on Bologna possibly qualifying for Europe. Then he will channel all his energies for Scotland in Germany if he is fortunate enough to make the squad.”
