Osimhen’s agent sends warning as Napoli star ranked 8th at Ballon d’Or

Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda congratulated the Napoli striker on being ranked 8th at the Ballon d’Or and warned other stars: ‘Victor is coming.’

The Nigeria international finished 8th in the 2023 Ballon d’Or ranking, becoming the first Napoli player to finish in the top 10 and also the highest-ranked Nigerian player ever.

The previous record for a Napoli player belonged to Ruud Krol, who was ranked 15th in 1980.

His agent Calenda congratulated the Napoli striker on X, formerly Twitter: “You made history and the future is yours’, Victor is coming!”

Osimhen scored 26 goals in 32 appearances in Serie A last season becoming the league’s top scorer and contributing to Napoli’s first Scudetto in 33 years.

Osimhen is currently out of action due to a muscle injury and has scored six goals in 10 appearances across all competitions this season. Overall, he has netted 23 league goals so far in 2023
