Tomas Soucek transfer news as West Ham United offer him to Inter Milan
West Ham have offered Tomas Soucek to Inter Milan as they look to part ways with him in the January transfer window.
The Italy-based news outlet reported on Sunday (15 October) that the Czech international is not a priority option for the Champions League outfit.
Inter, who finished as the runners up in Europe’s elite competition last season, have other options in mind as well.
Waiting game?
It seems that Inter are playing the waiting game as Soucek’s contract runs out at the end of the season.
If they’re given a very good deal in January, they may decide to sign him as the number of clubs keen will increase if he’s a free agent.
Soucek seems no closer to signing a new deal at the London Stadium but that does not mean that it can’t change in the coming weeks.
Players that have looked destined to leave have signed long-term deals and the Czech Republic international is still not quite there yet.
It remains to be seen what David Moyes’ stance is on the midfielder and whether or not he schedules talks with him.
Moving to Inter may mean Champions League football and if that’s something he wants, he may look to force his way out.
