Milan aiming to lower Chukwueze fee below €20m with counterpart possible”
AC Milan have not yet fully closed the deal with Villarreal for Samuel Chukwueze and could try to include a counterpart, according to a report.
According to the latest from Sky, the Milan management are pushing to close at a figure lower than €20m, while the Spaniards would like €25m to sell the winger. It will take a few more days, but the intention is to close soon.
Milan are evaluating whether to insert a player as a potential counterpart to lower the cash sum required as well, but the main intention is to find a definitive agreement as soon as possible.
There will also be further discussions regarding the structure of the deal and the bonuses that the LaLiga side will obtain. Chukwueze could arrive next week, with the aim of the Rossoneri being to have him in the USA for the preseason tour and the friendlies against Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona.
