Italy and PSG star Donnarumma tied up home-invasion robbery
Multiple reports claim Italy and PSG star Gianluigi Donnarumma was tied up and robbed in his home in Paris last night.
French media Actu 17 and several reliable sources in Italy, including ANSA and La Gazzetta dello Sport, report thieves broke into Donnarumma’s home in the VIII arrondissement in Paris last night with the Italy international and his girlfriend Alessia Elefante inside the property.
According to the reports, Donnarumma was tied up and stripped and thieves stole goods worth €500,000.
Donnarumma and his girlfriend managed to free themselves at around 3.20 in the morning, heading to a luxury hotel close to their home.
Local authorities were immediately alerted and took care of the couple, who were admitted to the hospital for medical checks.
Donnarumma joined PSG on a free transfer from Milan in the summer of 2021 and is preparing to start his third season in Paris.
The 24-year-old has played 72 games with the Ligue 1 giants and has 54 international caps to his name with Italy national team.
