Milan’s stance on De Ketelaere outlined as Monza express interest

There is the strong possibility that AC Milan will have loan offers this summer for Charles De Ketelaere which will give them a decision to make.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) write how De Ketelaere was the talent that Milan invested a lot in to add more class and unpredictability to the attacking department, but over the course of the season he has got lost and his value is dropping

There is no intention of looking for a buyer on the foreign market that would allow at least part of the €32m spent to be recouped. Milan remain convinced that the Belgian will improve after more weeks of work and a full preseason.

That is why they are also unlikely to let him leave on loan, even if Monza are interested in having him for a season and it would mean the player could stay and continue living in Milan, with less pressure and expectations.
