Double against the Netherlands for captain Mbappé
Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé’s French team beat the Netherlands 4-0 on Friday 24 March at the Stade de France on Matchday 1 of qualifying for UEFA Euro 2024.
Kylian Mbappé, who officially became the ninth Paris Saint-Germain player to wear the captain’s armband for Les Bleus, provided an assist for the opening goal before scoring twice. His 37th and 38th goals for the French national team put him in fifth place in France’s top scorers’ chart.
